On October 23-24, the Innovation and Research Fair – UGAL INVENT, 2025 took place in Galați.
At this edition of UGAL INVENT, at the booth of the Institute for Nanotechnologies and Alternative Energy Sources from Ovidius University in Constanța, there were presented the results obtained in some R&D and innovation activities carried out within the Institute.
The Jury of the event appreciated the achievements of the team of researchers from Constanța with the following prizes:
- Gold medal for the invention entitled HYBRID SOLAR PANEL FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ELECTRIC AND THERMAL ENERGY, authors: MAMUT Eden, OANCEA Laurentiu, PRODAN Gabriel, GHINEA Octavian-Florin, registered with OSIM under no. A/00767/29.11.2023 published in BOPI 5/2025;
- Gold medal for the invention entitled AUTONOMOUS PELLET BOILER INTEGRATING A THERMOELECTRIC GENERATOR FOR POWERING AUXILIARY INSTALLATIONS, authors: MAMUT Eden, OANCEA Laurentiu, PRODAN Gabriel, registered with OSIM under no. A/00059/19.02.2024- published in BOPI 8/2025;
- Silver medal for the invention entitled PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A POROUS MEMBRANE FROM GRAPHENE-BASED CARBON MATERIAL FOR HYDROGEN SEPARATION, authors: MAMUT Eden, AVRAM Marius Andrei, SIMIONESCU Octavian Gabriel, VASILE Nicoleta, OANCEA Laurentiu, PRODAN Gabriel, registered with OSIM under no. A/00060/19.02.2024 – published in BOPI 8/2025;
- Silver medal for the results obtained in the project entitled Digital Twin Earth Intelligence for Climate Change – DTEClimate, ctr. no. 760008/30.12.2022.
Also, for the results achieved within the implementation of the DTEClimate project, DFR Systems SRL, co-organizer of UGAL INVENT 2025, awarded the team from Constanța with a diploma of excellence.
